South Nodaway Board of Education discusses ACT and APR

The South Nodaway Board of Education met in regular session last week.
Superintendent for South Nodaway schools Johnnie Silkett says the meeting's topics included the senior trip and performance reports.

"The main topic was approval of the senior trip which is to Dallas, Texas.  We've also had a discussion on our ACT - our last year's seniors.  The composite scores were almost a point above the state average.   We also talked about our APR - our annual performance rating.  We discussed the highlights and points of those, as far as how the state was scoring us differently this year."

Silkett also says there was discussion on fixing leaks above the boys locker room.
The next regular meeting will be November 20th in the elementary commons area.
